Dune Wildflower Meadow | Original Watercolour | 350 x 500 mm

Painted on location at Kenfig Nature Reserve, Wales amongst the sand dunes. A symphony of wood vetch, buttercup, red clover and wild mint.

This piece holds the energy of this beautiful location. I sat in awe of these wildflowers moving in the wind, inhaling the fresh sent of the wild mint. I was so still whilst painting this piece a newt lay on the painting for about 10 minutes watching me work. A flurry of vibrant and comforting colours that intertwined across my page.

Overall size is 35 x 50 cm. Painted on 300gsm smooth textured watercolour paper, with light fast mineral pigment artisan pan Deep Deep Light watercolours. The artwork is signed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. All IP (Intellectual Property) remains with the Artist.

The paper was stretched on a block, however there is some slight cockling of the paper.
